We toured the Golden Circle earlier in the week. Here is a funny commercial for Thule beer that they are playing on TV here. We have not seen Thule beer in any of the restaurants here. We have been drinking Viking and Gull. We have also seen Polar Beer, but it was not available when we tried to order it.

I finally got a Thule beer at the airport. Second cheapest beer of the trip. The cheapest was the Polar Beer I got on the flight back to Seattle. The Icelandic beer economy is very strange. The cheapest beer was on a flight. The second cheapest was at the airport, and the third cheapest was at the hotel. Local bars and restaurants were quite a bit more expensive. Seems just about opposite of what I would expect...
