Preview: Basement Upgrade

The basement has been going through a pretty major overhaul the past 2 months and she’s almost done!

Adios Office

Erica was sent to her office today after 14 months to pack up all her belongings and shred or send business documents to storage.  We won’t be officing in the same way again.  

Details are still being finalized, but it’s looking like work from home 90% of the time on a long term basis.

The Beer Spa

The Beer Spa lived up to the hype!  We spent an entire afternoon here.  It just opened in February.

First, we relaxed in the Tap Room, enjoying beer & wine & snacks.  

Then we took our drinks and moved to our private Beer Therapy Room.  It had an infrared sauna, rain shower, and beer bath to enjoy.  

When our time was up, we showered up and relaxed in a quiet lounge for a little bit before our zero gravity massages.  It was an awesome experience and we felt completely relaxed when we left.  We will be back.

Not all Work & No Play

We had a nice dinner with friends last night.  More vacation stuff happening this afternoon!

New Tile in the Laundry Room

We’re on vacation this week.  Staycationing and getting stuff done around the house.

Chris is making cuts, Erica is laying the tile (she’s never tiled before!)

Birthday Shooters

We were at a small 80th bday party this weekend (everyone was vaccinated).  When the birthday boy hands out oyster shooters, down the hatch they go!
