Sausalito

After crossing the bridge, we cruised into Sausalito.  We tasted wine at Madrigal Family Winery Tasting Room, ate delicious pizza at San Drino and enjoyed the sights.  We rode the ferry with our bikes back across to Fisherman’s Wharf and then climbed up some crazy insane hills back to the hotel.

San Fran Bike Adventure Begins!

We’re hanging out in San Fran.  Southwest had cheap airfare a couple months ago so why not?

We arrived at our hotel late last night.  Today we ate lunch at Boudin Bistro  saw the sights along the waterfront and toured Alcatraz.

Chris and Zoey drove home today.  Erica stayed behind in Grand Junction for one more day and then flew home.

The Junc

The Junc is what Erica lovingly calls Grand Junction, CO.  Erica has business here next week, so we made a trip of it and we are staying at this AMAZING off grid house for a long weekend.

Project Pet Painting

Erica spent yesterday afternoon painting a masterpiece at Pinot’s Palette (a paint & sip studio).  It was a fun distraction and there were 2 ladies who were hysterical (one of them couldn’t paint at all & her goal was for the instructor to paint her picture for her.  She was largely successful) so there were also lots of laughs.  

This studio also goes out to breweries and you can paint your pet on a pint glass while sipping on brews.  Might have to check this out.  Maybe Chris would paint?

....we were excited about the new house going up across the street?  

This is what happens around sunset now.  Shines right into our living room.  Almost like that London hotel that melts cars and starts buildings on fire.
