Before pulling the trigger on our countertop, we went to see a slab in person. The showroom also served wine and beer so we had a mini happy hour while we were at it.

John Akal’s 20 piece Ultraphonic Jazz Orchestra
It’s not often you run across a 20 piece jazz orchestra.
Erica’s friend Pam owns The Venue (just 10 minutes away from the house) and a jazz band plays the first and third Tuesdays of the month. The music was really good and made for a fun girls night. Taking Chris next time.

Kitchen Update
The kitchen design has been finalized and cabinets are in production. Cabinet install expected in about 6 weeks.
Chris & Jim framed out the back kitchen wall a couple weeks ago in prep for the electrical and drywall.
Rough-in electrical should be finished today.
