Sink Hole

We noticed the beginnings of a hole next to our driveway a few months back.  At first we just thought the dirt was settling from when they poured our driveway.  As winter progressed, the spot got bigger.  And after the snow melted this past week, we took a closer look.

Turns out the neighbors sewer line broke.  We contacted the landlord and she was very grateful.  It was fixed the next day.  

Patched up.  The line is really shallow.  It's a bit stinky out there right now.

Back in the Saddle

We rode the Platte River Trail today.  Got 20 miles in.

New Railing

When we got our front porch re-poured, we got rid of our old railing.  Our new railing is being fabricated right now and should be installed in about a month.  It's going to look like this:

Belated Birthday Party

Some of Erica's girlfriends threw a belated birthday get together last night.  They put out all the stops - decorations, food, gifts, gift bags for everyone who came out.  It was just incredible.  And a lot of fun.

A Hard Days Work

Erica got to take in a Rockies Game (they beat the Giants!) and got some business done too.

Dinner is Served

We enrolled in a cheese club - we get three cheeses and a salumi each month from Cheese + Provisions.

Around the House

Erica did some pruning and cleaned out the front flower beds and Chris got to work on the kitchen floor tile.  We're ready for mortar & grout!

Saturday's a Rugby Day

To celebrate our friend Kirks birthday, we watched the Denver Barbarians take on the San Francisco Golden Gates at Infinity Park. Afterward, we walked  to Bull & Bush for an early dinner.  Chris tried beer that was dry hopped table side in a French press.

Birthday Weekend

We had a busy weekend with friends!  

Friday, we went to My Brothers Bar for happy hour with Chris's work people.  Chris works with Johnny of the infamous Johnny Burger on the menu there.  Then we went for ice cream at Little Man.

We had lunch with friends Saturday and on Saturday night we were invited to a bonfire.

We got out in the yard this afternoon for a few hours, but otherwise took it easy today.
